The PSR282 is the successor to the popular PSR275. As you would expect the new model includes a host of new features. This scanner now offers 200 channels, rather than 50, 8.333 kHz steps for Airband and 5 pre-programmed channels, which include airband and Ham frequencies. The handset is supplied with two interchangeable battery compartments, allowing the use of both normal and rechargeable batteries. Other features include individual rotary volume and squelch controls. The backlight LCD displays the current frequency and channel number. Supplied with rubber duck antenna, belt clip, battery cases and instruction manual. The unit is powered by 4 x AA batteries.
